I feel like I've heard pratfall, gibbous, bluestocking and snollygoster somewhere before. Pratfall is, like, to fall or trip or something, right? Or is it like a big humiliation? Gibbous is like the 3/4 stage of the moon. I feel like bluestocking has something to do with pioneer women, but I don't really know. And I don't have a clue about snollygoster, though it is strangely familiar.
ReplyDeletePratfall can be either, actually. That's some of the fun of it.
ReplyDeleteBluestocking is a derogatory term for an intellectual women.
Snollygoster is a clever, unscrupulous person.
