How I "Organise" This Blog
You've probably figured out that updates come every three days, but have you noticed them alternating? Well, not really back and forth... at least not the way I see the posts. I don't know about you, but here's how I classify my posts, to keep from repeating the same kind of stuff post after post.

Failure is Always an Option
While I've already talked about abandoning stories, there are more ways to fall short of the goal than that.
Take this blog, for instance. It was created to expand my audience, but it seems to have done just the opposite. I get relatively consistent feedback from two people, both of whom I knew before starting this blog. I haven't had a comment from another passerby in months. My overall hits have more or less increased since the blog started, but the vast majority of these hits/referrals come from spam sites that hope to make me click their links in the Stats page so they can give me a computer virus. Not exactly what I would call popularity.
So, in all honesty, this blog is a failure. I was going to give it time, but it's been a year, and my monthly hits aren't even increasing. If anything, they've gone down due to the slower update pace—but I'm too busy to do much about that. I've already eaten through my three-post buffer, and I'm running low on post ideas, too.
That's not to say I intend to shut this down. I'm just trying to figure out what I'm doing here. If at first you don't succeed, redefine success, right? Maybe I can't get any new readers with this. I'm still letting a few that I have know what's going on, and I'm still keeping track of ideas. Writing prompts are a nice challenge sometimes (in fact, it took the last post for me to write anything after I finished Phoenix Wright: Ace Tribute). And rambling about writing has its advantages, too. I'm not entirely sure what, but I've never been one for a lot of introspection, and at least I'm writing something instead of playing video games or other such things that aren't productive in a straightforward way. Perhaps this blog itself isn't really that productive, but... It's still worth something, right?
Really, I'm not sure. I just hope that the few of us involved in this enjoy it enough to justify its other failures. I'm sure we can figure something out.

Updates Left, Right, and Centre
Is my update pace reasonable?
Most mini-guides I've seen in articles recommend updating at least once a week. That's certainly too slow for me—even when I wait three days for an update, readership drops dramatically.
That being said, I'd hate to feel like I'm pummelling you all with my ideas. I realise you have things to do other than read my ramblings, so let me know if you want me to cut the pace to, say, every other day by default (and, as always, a bit longer if the latest post receives no comments).
Or, if you don't mind either way, let me know that. Are the updates at good times of day? I always schedule them, so I can post anytime. I'm not going to try posting twice a day or anything, but I'll keep up a post-a-day pace if you'd like me to do so.

Come (What) May
As those of you who look at my fan fiction profile know, I will be leaving for Asia in May. While my host family in Japan has stated they're all right with me using their computer, I really have no way of knowing how often I'll be able to rely on an Internet connection. Thus, I have no idea when I'll be able to update this blog.
Since it's still a little bit before May, what do you think I should do? Should I go on complete hiatus here? Build up a backlog and schedule it? If the latter, how many posts would be good? One a week? Two?
Just let me know what you think. I definitely won't be able to write enough for every day of May, but I can put a little extra sweat in beforehand and schedule some updates ahead of time.

What You Want to Hear
As you can tell, I've been posting a decent variety of things on this blog. My question is, what do you like best? Seeing my ideas? Seeing how I think about writing or how I write?
Would something else be a good addition? Would you like to see me comment on other writings? Do you want more samples of my writing here? What could I add to make this more appealing to you, the reader?
Is there anything that would help me get a greater audience, as far as content goes?
